This picture take me back to where it all began.When I first started The Hotspot Kitchen, I didn’t have a restaurant, a food truck, or a big setup. I just had a passion for cooking, a vision, and the willingness to take a chance on myself.I prepared a few homemade meals, packed everything up, and set up for the first time in Akwesasne. I didn’t know exactly where the journey would lead, but I believed that every dream starts with a single step. Looking back at these pictures reminds me that you don’t have to have everything figured out—you just have to start.As time went on, the vision began to grow.The Hotspot Kitchen started with serving food, and while we’ll still cater events and host pop-up experiences from time to time, today we’re becoming something even bigger.The Hotspot Kitchen isn’t a physical restaurant. It’s a brand built around food, culture, and community.Our mission is to travel across America—and eventually around the world—discovering incredible restaurants, experiencing different cuisines, and sharing honest reviews along the way. We want to shine a light on the places that deserve to be recognized, from small family-owned businesses to restaurants that people may have never heard of.When a restaurant delivers an experience that truly stands out, it can earn the Hotspot Certified recognition.
